Hospitalist Medicine/Osteopathic Family Practice |
|
|
In
response to the growing demand for additional training for Osteopathic
Family Practice Graduates and in recognition of the fact that a rising
percentage of graduates are choosing to work as hospitalists on a full-time
or part-time basis, a one-year
Fellowship in
Hospitalist Medicine
open to graduates of
osteopathic family medicine has been developed at Peninsula Hospital
Center. A hospitalist program is already
in place at Peninsula Hospital Center which provides continuous resident
supervision and patient care. The faculty includes four full-time
hospitalists, two of whom are graduates of our own program in family
practice. Students who have an interest in this emerging subspecialty may
wish to schedule a fourth year rotation at the Hospital Center. |
